Today my dad showed his halter horse Twister at the AQHA Bayer Select World Show...he did amazing! I am so proud of him...he did a wonderful job. Twister, his horse was not so great :( but I think he was just scared! The show ring was HUGE and bright and he had to show to 5 different judges...the class ended up taking about an hour. During the entire time Twister was acting up my dad stayed calm and showed his horse to the best of his ability...it was great (I know I keep saying that but I can't express enough how happy I am!)
I did feel a little bad this afternoon when my mom called and said he was a little bummed out because he said he felt like he disapointed me! What!! NO WAY!! He did something today that many horse show people will never be able to do and he did it WELL!
SO CONGRATS DAD YOU DID GREAT!
