This weekend to celebrate Braden's birthday we went to visit our family in Sioux City. Saturday we spend the morning with Ryan's dad and step-mom then in the afternoon we went to his mom and step-dads. There were many people there to help us celebrate the party. It was very good to see everyone and I think everyone had a great time! Thank you all for everything you did to make Braden's birthday celebration a success!

On Sunday we took Braden to the Omaha Zoo! He had a wonderful time! We spent the majority of our time in the jungle. He loved seeing the monkeys and he says that they are his favorite. They have a train that tours that zoo and we took him on that. He was in awe the whole time! He LOVES trains!

On the way home from Omaha we stoped at Ryan's Aunt and Uncle's house in Onawa. John is on the fire department there and he took Braden for a ride on the big fire truck. He thought it was pretty cool!

Today is Bradens actual birthday and it has been spent pretty low key. We got him a wading pool for the backyard. I also got him some "Thomas" cupcakes. We will see how he likes it!
